The return of Mega Evolutions in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has ignited widespread excitement across the fandom. From the gradual unveiling of fresh additions ahead of the game's launch, to trainers developing strong views on the full roster of Mega Evolutions, there's plenty for enthusiasts to look forward to.

With many of the Super Forms boasting unique designs that emphasize their traits, one thought came to mind: What's the best way to connect this with astrology? The following is inspired by a mix of vibes, sign stereotypes, and individual observations.

The Ram – Mega Camerupt

Honestly, Houndour's evolution was almost chosen for this fire sign, as they are the Mega Pokémon and astrological sign that evoke the greatest apprehension. However, a Super Houndoom comes across as constantly angry, which isn't typical of the Ram's energy, renowned for being playful, light-hearted, and spontaneous. The Maiden – Super Victreebel

The always-ready and perpetually-anxious Virgo is ideally encapsulated in Mega Victreebel, the Mega with constant digestive issues. The zodiac symbol famous for being charmingly critical is clearly reflected throughout this Pokémon’s entire lineage, from a always shocked expression like a Virgo when you tell them you lack a 401(k), to its inverted face that’s just like the symbol a Virgo posts to the chatroom when everyone says they want to “be spontaneous” rather than creating a plan.

Libra – Mega Audino

Observe this gentle, empathetic creature, who employs the sensors on its ears to detect how others are emotionally by their heartbeat. Always compassionate – occasionally to a detriment – and striving to keep the harmony, there are numerous Scales who would likely appreciate Super Audino's skills. Though, to be frank, it would likely just cause them to worry more about everyone else.

The Scorpion – Super Banette

Banette is a creature with a unexpectedly sad backstory: Discarded as a doll, it became sentient through sheer resentment and vowed retribution on its previous caretaker. According to the official info, Super Evolution, “increases its vindictiveness.” That sounds exactly like several conversations I’ve had with my scary Scorpio acquaintances. A Scorpio adores cosmic justice and comeuppance, making them the perfect pair with Super Banette.

The Archer – Super Hawlucha

Each Super Hawlucha and Sagittarians are always staging a performance. As a Sagittarius personally, the number of occasions I’ve called myself some variation of a “playful small jester” is countless. The most flamboyant and most attention-seeking Super Form, its description even mentions how it “flexes to display its power.” I would do the very same thing if I had some kind of Super Form, making Mega Hawlucha the most fitting Sagittarius counterpart I can think of.

Capricorn – Super Absol
